What is today's cuisine and food culture? "Creative chefs from all over the world, to meet the demand of educated guests, with mostly highly trained and toured palates. That's wonderful. It drives our food culture forward. From traditional, more creamy or creamy sauces, to light fine vinaigrettes. What I do not like personally: We chefs use us from a basket from all over the world. In the deepest of Bavaria Canadian lobster or New Zealand lamb are served. This is exactly what we want to rethink about with our gourmet restaurant DOMUS. "
Our head chefs Marvin Endres and Michael Graf are inspired by what the farmer brings. 90% regional and in organic quality" is the motto! "There will be exceptions, at least with spices and some vegetables." For the DOMUS, we use meat products of farmer in a disctance of max. 50 km. Fish come from the surroundings of Erding - all fresh water. The German products processed old, partly forgotten, Roman recipes, matching the theme of the house and the region.
Since February 2017 the DOMUS, in the MARC AUREL Spa & Golf Resort, will bring a whole new flavor to the region. In the Roman atmosphere, in keeping with the history of Bad Gögging, it becomes festive and delicious. Candlelight ambience and almost nostalgic features of the restaurant invite you to a romantic evening for two.
